The Blue & Gold tradition.

The Blue & Gold yearbook has been published continuously since 1875. It has been a highly regarded campus publication produced entirely by student writers, photographers, and graphic artists. We are confident that the 2008 Blue & Gold will be the most finely crafted collection of college memories ever produced by the students of the University of California at Berkeley.

Support independent student publications.

Berkeley's student publications are known for their quality and excellence. The large majority of student publications are entirely self-supporting, such as the Blue & Gold, while others are sponsored by the ASUC, the independent student government at Cal. Because of this, the Blue & Gold relies on the support of faculty, students, parents, grandparents, and the business community.

Showcase your graduate.

This year's book promises to be the highest-selling in Cal history. This makes it a perfect showcase for advertisements, good wishes, or anything else you would like. Parents of seniors are especially invited to place personal congratulatory messages for their graduates.
